Underground Water
"Spirit Routes"

Primary water is water.... which
is created by chemical
reactions... deep within the earth. Through
any kind of
geologic pressure, this water is forced
up... towards the
surface of the Earth, and moves in
small streams or
veins. Where these veins cross, they
typically form a
kind of dome... under the mantle of
the earth.
Digging into the earth... near these domes,
where the
streams flow away again, can bring to
the Earth's surface
a rich supply of water. Such wells,
and their corresponding underground domes of
primary water, can be very holy and
sacred places.
However, building any kind of site...
over such a place,
can cause a great deal of harm.
Detrimental energy, or
simply too much energy, can bring
negative effects...
with prolonged exposure. In their
works, Guy Underwood
and Tom Graves... discuss certain kinds
of primary water
spirit routes... which carry yin energy, which
in small
quantities can be useful for banishing
work, or letting
go of things, but is unhealthy... over
a longer term.

One example of this, is the
Krebs
houses... in
Germany.
Krebs... is the German word for
Cancer, and these
houses
are so named, because of the high
incidence of unrelated
residents... developing Cancer... at significantly
higher rates
than their neighbors. When dowsers
studied... these Krebs
houses, they discovered... several veins of
water streams...
crossing beneath each one.
Lonegren explains, "It is not the water
itself... which seems
to cause the problem, although the
flowing nature of the
water seems to exaggerate it. The
negative effect is more
than twice as bad... when one spends
time... over the crossing
of several veins. Veins of flowing
water... seem to act as
doors that allow certain energies... to
pass though the normally shielded mantle
of the earth's crust."
Graves suggested... that part of the
difficulty people have
with
yin energy... comes
from the idea that it is "negative,"
and that our fear of
yin energy... may
actually reinforce its detrimental effects.

The Chinese recognize... a
necessity for both positive
and negative energies, and believe healthy
life... is
impossible without a balance between the
two.
Lonegren suggests... that living in
harmony with these
energies, rather than ignoring them and
building homes indiscriminately... over them,
will increase... the livelihood
of the human race.
"From the Neolithic village in Orkney...
called Skara
Brae... to the homes of the Inca
residents... of Machu
Picchu... high in the Andes, these
people... never built
their homes over these life-detracting
powers.
Today, Western Man... does it all the
time, as in the
'Cancer Houses'
in Germany, with their deadly crossing
veins of underground primary water."
In similar studies, Underwood dowsed earth
anomalies...
he discovered... on and around sacred
sites. It is unclear ,
from Underwood's work... whether or not
he was talking
about the same primary water..
Lonegren discussed,
but he found similar phenomena... where
his 'water
lines' cross.
When two or more of these veins meet,
their energy
spirals and flows upwards... toward
the surface of the
Earth... much like an underground fountain,
forming
what Underwood termed... a
blind spring --
another
name for a dome of primary water.
An
artesian well...
or water spring is formed... when
a
water line flows on its own power...
out from the surface
of the Earth. It is common
practice... to dig or drill a
hole down to the water line... to
find a water source.
Thousands of well drillers... are in
this business.

Geodetic
Lines
However, Underwood's geodetic
lines.. are not leys...
because they are not straight lines.
They instead
meander... in waves and zigzags, spirals
and loops, and
don't continue for long periods... as
leys tend to do. His
work suggests... a variety of types of
sites, energies, and
alignments at work... in much of
what ley dowsers...
have discovered.

Many times... the terminology
alone... can be confusing,
especially when dealing with something...
which has
not yet been empirically proven and
cannot be perceived...
with the standard five senses.
Water in general... seems to be a major
influence in many
of these energies, but most of the
time... it seems the flow...
not the water itself... is what
has the effect. Lonegren wrote,
"Water on the Earth's surface or
in streams or lakes... is
neutral, although waterfalls... are excellent
negative ion
generators."

Another negative " ion generator " is
thunderstorms.
In his work, Graves found... that
where water lines met,
especially... where there was a standing
stone present,
lightning would tend... to ground
itself at that spot.
This makes sense, because electricity...
looks for a
convenient place to channel itself into
the earth, and
water... is one likely place.
The result of this, according to
Graves, is that places...
where many underground veins cross are
likely to attract
more powerful storms... than other
locations. Though
storms at sacred sites... may be more
rare, when they
do come... they will drop more
lightning... because of their
increased ability... to allow a grounding
spot for electrical
energy.

Graves found... that wet
places have a certain "energy"
to them, one... which may lend itself
to a certain type of
place-memory association. "According to
Lethbridge, a
damp, muggy, slightly misty day... seems to
be best
for hauntings.
This coincides, of course, with the kind
of weather... so
preferred by writers of horror-story
hauntings; but it also
seems to be the conditions... of
the atmosphere... under
which, according to
William Reich's
theories... of
orgone
energy,
the body's level of orgone.. is most
easily depleted,
leaving emotional strength, stamina and
resistance at its
lowest."
Since primary water... contains this
draining yin energy,
it is easy to see... why humans
may feel more subdued...
on rainy days, or when visiting
waterfalls, rivers or the ocean.
