The Beaches

The beaches of Costa Rica... are some of the most beautiful in all the
world.  Marlin fishing and fresh lobsters everyday!  Tropical Sea villages
with small Cabinas and Island Music, where you wake up to the greetings
of  the "Howler monkeys" in the morning.

When the evening comes the sunsets roll into night and the moon
is like magic... over the sea.  Tiny fruit bats fly about... almost as if,
they too, were happy.

Squirrel Monkeys come out to play and are fed and protected
by everyone.  Iguanas and dragons "sun  themselves" on the
beaches and munch on tropical fruits all day.

Palm trees and Coconut trees shade the beaches. Coconuts fall
in the sand and grow where they fall.  So you have to watch out
for falling Coconuts!  (But when you have them down, you can
open them up, and drink the green Coconut milk… that is
like Ambrosia).

It is called "Agua de Pipa".  Sip island drinks all day...
made with the freshest, tastiest, "hand-squeezed" fruit
juices... the best you've ever had!

Then go for a horseback ride on the beach, or to the
waterfalls.  Every day is new!

Eat a Pineapple, munch on a Mango, crunch on Macadamia nuts and in
the morning, savor the taste of the rich "mountain coffee" that is the specialty
of Costa Rica.  Or take a walk through the Rain Forest… which is situated
behind all the Coconut and Palm trees.

Keep your eyes open and maybe you'll see some Howler Monkeys in the
tallest trees, or you might spot the "Yoda-like" Sloth... who moves slowly
through the trees and who can turn his head completely around…has such
a cute face -- you want to kiss him.

Take some bananas and feed the Squirrel Monkeys. Find a treasure, wild  Orchids growing in the trees... and tropical flowers or seeds.

Take a walk on the wild side… go "barefoot" to dinner, at one of the many
tropical seafood restaurants... that are right on the beach!  Sip some wine,
meet new people, who are fun to be with... watch the moon, take a midnight  swim in the sea.  And feast on fresh fish, lobsters, shrimp and mussels.

In Costa Rica... there is a "specialty" called "Ceviche". It is made with fresh  shrimp or fresh fish, mussels or octopi.  It is "naturally - cooked", by simply  soaking in pure "lime juice" overnight, with minced onions and fresh Cilantro.

The result is a tasty freshness of seafood... that melts in your mouth. Or try  "Pescado Entero", an entire fish is quick-fried, "head and all", and has a
delicious crispy flavor, one of my favorites.

Enjoy the sea, take a Ferry ride and sip cocktails. Explore the coasts of
"Costa Rica", which means "rich coast".

Sail into the sunset.  Go to Montezuma, on the Pacific Coast and discover
a mini Paradise with international overtones, one of  the places I love most.

Or Punta Uva, on the Caribbean side... go snorkeling over the coral reefs and
dive for lobster.  Listen to "Reggae Music" and dance on the beach!
