Restless midnight, led me
to that little wooden dock by the bay,
the wind was wild, I could not
sleep...
Purple sea foam, touched my feet...
You were dancing in a silver moon bath.
A little child, a limber elf, singing and
dancing to yourself...
You seemed so tiny, on that little dock,
dark woods all around...
The wind catching wisps of your hair,
as your small feet touched down lightly,
on the old wood, abound...
There was no music, only wind and sea,
and a chosen silence in the air...
Your eyes were green fire,
wild and abandoned, as you held your head high, in silent
prayer...
I could smell the sea salt of your body,
a color of soft, sunset pink, in the warm
moonlight...
Uninhibited, eyes, soft and shining bright...
A liquid moon, moved gently through the branches, of a
ghostly, creamy colored,
little tree...
Turning your small shadow into
transient beauty...
You had the self possession, of a
spirit goddess of the sea...
a siren calling out to me...
A wind spirit, beyond the crest of the
world...
Tossing your hair, you claimed me in one kiss...
While my heart felt like a wind
shadow, racing across the sea, like a
mist...
